Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Together, We can save a life. The American Red Cross offers a worthwhile opportunity to assist blood donors. As a Blood Donor Assistant you will greet donors, coordinate registration, and complete all required records. You will become an integral part of the donation team guiding the donor through the process. A Blood Donor Assistant also serves refreshments and observes donors for post-donation reactions in the canteen area. As a volunteer you will provide cheerful company to donors as they recuperate and thank them for their time and donation.
Shifts vary from 3 to 6 hours at area blood drives and our five area fixed sites. Scheduling is flexible according to your availability. This is a great opportunity to help save a life while meeting new people and making a difference.

Volunteers need to be at least 17 years old unless supervised by an adult. All volunteers are required to attend an Orientation Session and will receive training. Accurate volunteer records, recognition, and social events provided.
