Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on May 7, 2009

Please help our next generation! Many older children and young adults in our community desperately need a mentor to help them make a successful transition to adulthood. Each mentor will work one-on-one with either an older teen in foster care who has been freed for adoption, or with an older youth who has no family resources. Through mentoring, advocacy, friendship and ongoing support, a trained mentor can make the future brighter for a special youth. You can make a difference!....

Orientation and training will be provided to each volunteer. Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age, and must make a commitment of at least one year of service so that the child does not feel abandoned. Mentors will be volunteering approximately 2 hours per week or 3-4 hours every other week. Please call or email for more information. You can change a life!
