Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Volunteers are lay, seminarian or ordained and provide non-proselytizing direct spiritual support and guidance to clients of all faith traditions. Often clients come with spiritually based questions, concerns which arise out of their experience of domestic violence. The Chaplain is available for spiritual support, exploration of the questions, and if desired, prayer. Good standing in the faith community, completion of the training session, and must successfully pass a background check as per NYS law.
