Volunteer Opportunity Details:
If you enjoy helping others you can make a big difference here. Mature, friendly, patient volunteers needed to transport our residents & Adult Day registrants to various therapy sessions within our building. Choice of one or more days (Mon. - Fri., 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.) Applicants should be willing to help a minimum of 2 hours per week on an on-going basis. Volunteers must be physically able to push a wheelchair, friendly, patient and enjoy working with the elderly, ill or disabled. Must also be able to maintain confidentiality. Candidates should be at least 15 years of age and willing to serve 2 hours/week on a long-term basis (50 hours/year annually). A written application, background checks and personal health history are required.
