Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Patient, mature, friendly volunteers accompany our residents to physician and special need appointments off the Schofield premises. A professional healthcare van and driver are provided. It may occasionally be necessary for the volunteer to push the resident in their wheelchair on a very limited basis. Appointment times, length and location will vary.

Friendly, patient and enjoy working with the elderly, ill or disabled. Able to carry on pleasant conversation. Able to maintain confidentiality. Candidates should be at least 15 years of age. A written application including background checks and personal health history are required.
