The Western New York DDSO operates a number of Day Programs designed to help our ladies and gentlemen get the needed living, social, and work skills needed to make each day a quality one. Since we have sites in Amherst, Depew, Hamburg, Gowanda, Ellington, Little Valley, Fredonia, and West Seneca the volunteer can most often volunteer at a location in their own neighborhood. The programs are run Monday to Friday from 9am to 3:30 pm and provide a wide range of experience. For more information contact the Volunteer Services Office at 716-517-3829
Student internships are also offered in pyscholgy, OT, PT, recreation , health care management, speech and Social work.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and have parental permission to participate. In addition, a TB test and HIPAA regulations must be in place before volunteer approval. Fingerprinting and background checks are also conducted on all applicants
