Volunteer Opportunity Details:

If you have some experience preparing income tax returns, and would like to help others, this BFNC project is ideal for you. Under a contract with the IRS, the BFNC provides tax counseling at no charge to seniors and others throughout our community. Anyone is welcome to receive training throughout January. As a volunteer tax counselor, you'll work alone or alongside other BFNC volunteers at one of eight community sites (Call for more information). Just pick the site and hours convenient to your schedule. Additional community centers where the service can take place are also sought.
