Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Programs: Moot Senior Center, Senior Day Training Program, Do Drop In Social Club
Clientele: Moot Center--adults ages 55+
Senior Day Training-- seniors with serious and persistent mental illness and/or developmental disabilities
Social Club-- adults ages 18+ with serious and persistent mental illness
Day/time: Moot Center-- M-F, 9 to 3
Senior Day Training-- M-F, 10 to 4
Social Club-- T- F, 4:30 to 9 p.m., Sat. 12 to 7, Sun. 12 to 5
Location(s): Moot Center-- 292 High Street
Senior Day Training-- 97 Lemon Street
Social Club-- 292 High Street
Tasks: Assist staff and consumers with daily program activities. Activities vary by program, but could include arts and crafts, table games, light exercise, field trips, friendly conversation, etc.

Ability to work with either well aged members of the Moot Senior Center or with seniors with serious and persistent mental illness.
