Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are seeking individuals who are interested in visiting inpatients at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center on Saturday afternoons. Many persons receiving inpatient services have few family members or friends and would appreciate the opportunity to meet and get to know new people. Volunteers should be outgoing, reliable, and able to engage others in friendly conversation.

We welcome individuals 18 years and older as volunteers. All volunteers must complete a two-hour orientation and provide evidence of being of good character and in good health. A tuberculosis test within the previous 12 months is required and can be provided by our facility.
