Many Happy Returns! A Post-Holiday Toy Collection!
This year, United Way is hosting a new kind of toy collection for the Holidays! We are doing a post-holiday toy collection, giving people the opportunity to donate the toy(s) they were going to return to the store! Instead of waiting in those long, horrible return lines and only getting the clearance price anyway – they can donate that toy to the United Way! This will give us a great head start for the 2010 WNY Holiday Partnership needs and enable us to serve more families! This event is sponsored by Walmart and WGRZ-TV. We will be at all Walmart locations on December 29th from 11am-7pm. We will need volunteers in two hour shifts for all locations. It’s easy and relaxing and a feel-good opportunity!
