Meals on Wheels openings

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on October 30, 2009

Our agency is in need of assistance for one of our downtown Reading Routes. Reading Elderly Housing, located on Front Street – is in need of Meals on Wheels volunteers for the months of November, December and January. We have vacancies for volunteers on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Monday’s of the month. The route works great with 2 volunteers. All deliveries are inside the apartment building, so it’s a quick and easy delivery.

If your place of business could assist by providing two volunteers for one hour a month to deliver this very important route, it would be greatly appreciated. Please consider helping.

Please contact Susanne Gerber at Sgerber@BerksEncorePA.org if you are able to help.
