Volunteer Opportunity Details:

To assist the members of the Allergy department with routine clerical work, freeing staff for professional duties.

1. File and pull patient charts.
2. Send Allergy Clinic appointment reminders and record on schedule.
3. Compile missed appointment list and send to Pediatric Clinic.
4. Compile and send list of rescheduled appointments.
5. Send form letters to patients
6. Schedule appointments by phone.
7. Perform clerical responsibilities such as copying and compiling educational materials which will be used by the Allergy staff.
1. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
2. Detail-oriented.
3. Good verbal communication skills.
4. Cheerful disposition.
5. Ability to follow directions.
6. Ability to interact with member of the Allergy Department effectively.
