Volunteer Opportunity Details:

To help in the preparation of dressings, linens, etc., furnished for hospital floors from the Central Sterile Processing and distribution Department. Duties would include wrapping towels daily, folding linen, date dressings, deliver orders, run instant service, wrap clean basins, bedpans, etc., stock shelves, unload skids, and clean litters.

Work in this department must be done correctly. Aim for good work rather than speed. As you learn exactly how to wrap and fold each item you will pick up speed in your work. Conform to the dress code for this department. You must wear a head covering while folding and wrapping linen.
