Daily Newspaper and Brochure Courier: The purpose of this volunteer position is to provide inpatient population with a daily newspaper. The volunteer would also fill brochure racks throughout the hospital. Volunteers must have a pleasant attitude and must be a morning person. Volunteer must be able to walk long distances and have the ability to lift several newspapers at once for stacking and loading purposes. Centran / Transporting of Patients Throughout the Hospital for Tests and Discharge: Centran is a department that transports patients to many departments and testing areas throughout the hospital. Duties would require transporting patients on wheelchairs and litters between departments, and to help discharge patients. Requirements are: Ability to push patients on transport litters and wheelchairs. Must be able to be on your feet and walking most of the working time. Must maintain complete confidentiality or discuss patient's condition with him or her.
