The Reading Hospital and Medical Center is in great need of greeters and escorts for our Emergency Department. The days and times are everyday, times 8:00am to 12:00pm, 12:00pm to 4:00pm, and 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Some of the duties are:         1. Greet patients and their families in the waiting area of the ED         2. Escort all ED patients or visitors to waiting area pods.         3. Inform patients and visitors of location of rest rooms, parking, and vending machines.         4. See that any patient has wheelchair immediately if needed.         5. Assist nursing staff in acquiring necessary supplies and records.         6. Transport patients to various areas in the department.         7. Assist patient family members, making arrangements for patient's care.         8. Locate patients in various areas of ED for family members.         9. Assist nurses by returning equipment to other departments of the Hospital.         10. Assist patients to other areas of the Hospital.         11. Help staff members wherever they may be needed.
