Walk a mile with us and raise money for our Homeless Prevention Program.
This program helps families in crisis stay in their homes by providing emergency financial assistance for rent and utility bills as well as budget counseling, resource referral and case management. The Walk for Warmth will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Volunteers will walk a mile downtown, and everyone who participates will receive a free t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals and teams that raise the most money. This is a great way to help raise awareness about homelessness in our community. For more info, contact Laura at (859) 381-9600 or at laura@lexingtonrescue.org.
