Lead Staff Contact: Chris McEachron, GTG Facilitator Manually pulling Bush Honeysuckle: LAC's 250+ acre forest has been approved as an American Tree Farm and Stewardship Forest. LAC was also accepted into the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) that provides assistance in the extensive removal efforts of invasive species such as honeysuckle. -All of the honeysuckle in the first 6 acre plot needs to be manually pulled out of the ground. Physical and outdoors. Volunteers should bring gloves and wear appropriate clothing for weather/outdoor conditions. (This project can be split between days, groups, etc.)
