Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This opportunity can be summed up in two words: important and easy.

We need a welcoming face and voice to greet our clients. Duties would include answering the phone and directing clients as they come in the door as well as necessary paperwork and database entry. Orientation and job training for necessary information and skills will be provided.

Most everything in this job is simple and strait-forward. But, by helping us, the staff will have far more valuable time and energy to better serve the community.

This position is not only a great way to serve, but is also a chance to possibly learn new job skills.

Office experience would be helpful, but is not a necessity.

Directions:

From new Circle Road, take the Old Frankfort Pike exit toward Lexington. Old Frankfort Pike changes into Manchester Street. Go straight through the stop light at Forbes Road. Take right at Pine Street. Go through light at Versailles road. After stop sign take a right on to Patterson Street. We are inside the Carver Center building. From Main Street: Take left onto Broadway from Main Street. Go over High Street and Maxwell Street, at the following street, Pine Street, take a right.
