     Become A Mentor!
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Sep 9, 2009 to Sep 14, 2009

Do you think you have what it takes to become a mentor? A mentor is someone who lends guidance and support to help a young mother reach her full potential. A mentor must enjoy sharing her knowledge, skills, abilities, and insight with young mothers.

When you become a mentor, the Program Coordinator will match you with a young mother according to interests, strengths, needs, and career fields.

Any mature person over the age of 21 can become a mentor. You will be asked to participate in a training program that helps us determine if mentoring is the right volunteer activity for you. You must also be willing to make a commitment of at least one year to the program. The hours spent with the young mother each week will vary depending on the schedules of both individuals.

Sponsored by Family Care Center.
