Combine Volunteering and a Day at the Races! Last updated on October 11, 2006 Combine your love for horses and a unique volunteer opportunity! United Way of the Bluegrass is seeking volunteers to assist with a promotional activity at Keeneland. Enjoy a day volunteering at one of Lexington's most beautiful attractions. Volunteers will assist in handing out vouchers to Keeneland guest and/or giving away free promotional items at a Keeneland display. Volunteers are needed on the following days and times: Sunday, October 15 10:30 - 1:00 Saturday, October 28 10:00 - 1:00 or 1:00 - 3:30 Volunteering gives you free admission to Keeneland for the day, and you are encouraged to stay following your volunteer shift and enjoy the remaining races. Most shifts are also compensated with a free lunch. There are very few spots still available, so please call soon.
