Kindergarteners and their families will be registering for Kindergarten on February 8, 9 and 10th.   As the registration process takes place throughout FCPS elementary schools, the excitement will fill the hallways as each new kindergartener will receive a free new book, library card and wallet, which are provided by the "Kinder Card" program.  "Kinder Card" Volunteers will help distribute new books and goody bags to each kindergarten registrant...a perfect chance to encourage reading and wish them a successful school carreer! Volunteers will be needed from 9am to 2pm, and will be placed throughout the 33 elementary schools in Fayette County.   "Kinder Card" is sponsored by Fayette County Public Schools, Lexington Public Library, YMCA, International Book Project, and United Way of the Bluegrass.   Click HERE to Sign Up!
