The Lexington Public Library exists to serve the information needs, to foster lifelong learning and enrichment of the residents of Lexington-Fayette county. The Village Branch is a response to Lexington's changing face. All staff are bilingual in English and Spanish to facilitate communication with patrons. We are trying to attract people who might not be familiar with public libraries and invite them to borrow materials and attend programs.

Lexington Public Library has 6 branches and one book van to serve Lexington-Fayette County. We operate 7 days a week. We lend books, movies, audio books, music free of charge. We provide free Internet access to the public. We offer free computer classes to adults. We offer a multitude of programs for young children and families for entertainment and learning. At Village Branch we serve a racially and ethnically diverse population. We are within walking distance of a densely populated neighborhood and attract large numbers of school age children.

Lexington Public Library - Village Branch is located at 2185 Versailles Road on the corner of Versailles Road and Village Drive, near Alexandria Drive.  We are next door to Sav-A-Lot.
