The Lexington Public Library exists to serve the information needs, to foster lifelong learning and enrichment of the residents of Lexington-Fayette county. The Village Branch is a response to Lexington's changing face. All staff are bilingual in English and Spanish to facilitate communication with patrons. We are trying to attract people who might not be familiar with public libraries and invite them to borrow materials and attend programs. We provide free Internet access to the public. We offer free computer classes to adults. We offer a multitude of programs for young children and families for entertainment and learning.
