The Read 180 class at Leestown Middle School is in need of Reading Partners. The individual partner works 1-on-1 with selected students by listening to the student read his/her novel orally while in the Book Nook session of rotations. 4 to 5 volunteers are needed per day. The partner will be a listener only. Since the student will be in the Book Nook 20 minutes, elaboration and text discussion is discouraged. Listener must also be a good reader in case words are mispronounced. All persons involved must pass a Fayette County Background Check.
