To provide recreational, vocational, and social opportunities to persons with developmental disabilities through adaptive gardening.

Description:
Forget Me Not Gardens is a 15 acre site in rural Madison Co. that is being developed in order that persons with disabilities can enjoy an intergrated and adaptive gardening experience. We are are a private, non-profit organization and have a enthusiastic Board of Directors. We plan to support this project thru the sales of plants and produce grown on site. Activities that we plan to develop include; 10 picnics, basketball, badminton, fishing, musical events, and various nature workshops.

History:
FMNG was founded in August of 1998. It was created by the parents of two men who have autism. These parents were concerned about the lack of recreational, vocational and social opportunities for disabled persons in the geographical location. FMNG became incorporated and tax exempt in 2003.
