Operation Read will be sponsoring an English-as-a-Second Language Tutor Training Workshop beginning on September 17, 2005. All participants will learn how to effectively tutor ESL learners, as well as become ProLiteracy Certified Tutors. Operation Read will also coordinate other training efforts such as observation of experienced tutors, as well as coordinating volunteers with their own class sites and students. Tutors are required to complete 14 hours of training. Dates of training are: Saturday, September 17, 2005 9:00am - 4:30pm Tuesday, September 20, 2005 6:00pm-9:00pm Thursday, September 22, 2005 6:00pm-9:00pm This opportunity is sponsored by: Operation Read, Inc.
