Thank you for your interest in God's Pantry Sharing Thanksgiving Program. Each year we have been thankful to provide thousands of Thanksgiving meals to our neighbors in need of help. This year, we are excited to share a new opportunity. We would like to invite you to "enlist" in the first annual BASKET BRIGADE!! The basket assembly is one of the most popular and fun events of the year. Where else can you put together Thanksgiving dinner for thousands in just a few short hours? In an effort to raise more awareness and funds for food programs, we will be coordinating the Brigade much like a walk-a-thon. Those that participate will contribute a small registration fee and will receive a customized t-shirt created specifically for this years event. Each participant will be encouraged to raise pledges from co-workers and friends, helping spread the word that there are folks in need in our community, and that we can do something simple yet meaningful to help. Cool t-shirts, fun prizes, and a great volunteer activity make this event perfect for families, corporate teams, church groups, or individuals. Mark you calendar now - Saturday, November 12. Space is limited, so don't miss your chance to secure you spot by October 21! Give HOPE this Thanksgiving season and participate in the first annual BASKET BRIGADE. Your involvement will help families share Thanksgiving free from hunger this year. All shifts will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We need a specific number of people for each shift. You may be contacted and asked to consider another time slot. Participants may only serve during one shift. Groups are welcome, but a separate form should be filled out for each individual because we must have guaranteed numbers to complete the assembly line. All participants must be 13 years of age or older for safety purposes. If you have younger children, please consider our Family Night opportunities.
