Volunteers are needed to setup tables, register walkers/runners, sell t-shirts, organize awards, and generally assist staff with the 6th Annual Race For Education 5K/10K, which takes place each year in memory of Karri Casner. Volunteers need to be arrive early at 6:30am. The race is conducted in Midway, KY on October 4th, 2008 at 8:30am. The Race For Education usually has about 300 participants in the race each year. Volunteers need to be personable and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with walk/run races, marathons or similar events would be helpful but is not required.
