In partnership with people who have disabilities, Mosaic provides support and advocates for the realization of God's gift of wholeness of life. Mosaic feels every individual is a person of worth.

Description:
Mosaic of Connecticut provides services and supports to over 100 individuals with developmental disabilities giving care and support for them living in group homes, day services and their own apartments. Individuals residing in Mosaic programs receive a wide variety of services and are active members of their communities. Mosaic assists those we support with all aspects of daily living including medical assistance, habilitative services, transportation, family involvement and more. Mosaic also assists those we support in giving back to the community through a variety of volunteer activities.

History:
Mosaic's roots go back nearly a century to Nebraska Lutheran men and women who made the decision to offer a better way of life for people with developmental disabilities.

Mosaic provides individualized services, living options, work choices, spiritual nurturing and advocacy to people with disabilities in more than 250 communities across 14 states and Great Britain through the work of 4,800 employees. As a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, Mosaic is an affiliated social ministry organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, a recognized service organization of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and a member of Lutheran Services in America.
