Inter-Community Mental Health Group is a non-profit community-based provider of comprehensive mental health and co-occurring addiction disorder services. We believe in access to needed services for all and no person is turned away because of a lack of finances.

Inter Community provides the following services: Assertive Outreach, Case Management, Career Opportunities, Social Rehabilitation, Community Education, Co-Occurring Disorders, Emergency Services, Educational Workshops, Family Support Groups, Outpatient Clinic and a Supported Apartment Program.

History:
Inter-Community was founded in 1976 in a church basement by people who felt local mental health services were critically needed. To help in the recovery process, Inter-Community provides treatment, rehabilitation and support through experienced and dedicated staff, including psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, counselors, rehabilitation specialists and paraprofessionals. We believe in access to needed services for all. No one is turned away because of lack of finances.

From Points North: Take Rt 2 to Exit 5 (Riverside-Willow Street). Follow Willow Street until you reach the traffic light on Main Street. Take a right onto Main Street . At the 4th traffic light you will see Wendy's, turn left onto Brewer Street. Inter-Community is on your right. Turn right into the 2nd driveway. From points south & east: Take Route 2 West, take Exit 5A. After exit ramp light take first left onto Brewer Street. Take first left into driveway.
