The Buddy Program is our in-house mentoring program. It matches volunteers to a young person who resides at The Home. They become supportive role models and friends as they work through their treatment process. The minimum commitment is for one hour per week for the duration of the child's stay.(currently an average stay is 10-18 months)

All volunteers go through an application process and complete background check. Training is provided and on-going support from the coordinator is provided throughout the relationship.Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.

Directions:

 From either 91 North or South take Route 9 South to the first Exit, Rt. 372 West St. Cromwell, *take a left off the exit, at the second light make a right onto Hicksville Road, and 1/4 mile on your left is the entrance to The Children's Home. From 84 take Rt 72 East to Route 9 South to the Rt. 372 West St. Cromwell Exit and follow directions from * above. On Rt. 9 going North from Middletown take the Rt. 372 West St. Cromwell exit and take a Right at the end of the ramp. At your first light, take a Right onto Hicksville Road, 1/4 Mile the entrance will be on your Left. Once on our campus come to the Main office which is in the first building on your Right. There is visitor parking in the lot in from of the building.
