Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The STRIVE/SAND Program is accepting volunteers both male and female adults who have experience in the corporate sector or trades willing to work with program participants on work ethics, professional and career development. A willingness to honestly share their work history with clients is essential to help them develop and maintain a positive focus in their employment circumstance.

Ideally volunteers should spend a minimum of an hour or 2 weekly with the person being mentored. Volunteer should be sensitive to the ethnicity of clients and possess training or skills that are useful to career development, life skills and goal attainment mechanisms.
