Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Prevent Child Abuse Connecticut is a program of Wheeler Clinic. We are also the state chapter to two national organizations, Prevent Child Abuse America and Circle of Parents. Members of the Prevent Child Abuse Connecticut Advisory Committee volunteer their time to support the programs and activities of the program and guide the long range development of these prevention programs. Volunteers should be committed to the mission of preventing all forms of child maltreatment and should have an interest in administration, program development, fund raising, advocacy and/or legislative efforts.

Advisory Committee members will meet as a group several times a year. Volunteers should have experience in business, law, education, health, media, family support or other areas associated with family success. An interview and orientation are provided.
