Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Ambassadors represent Foodshare at promotions, concerts, receptions, and events such as the Walk Against Hunger, Empty Bowls Project, and Taste of the Nation. These events occur throughout the year. We need volunteers to help during events to greet attendees, register participants, and take donations; volunteers also needed to attend community functions such as volunteer fairs and food shows on behalf of Foodshare. This is a great opportunity to educate the community about the problem of hunger in Greater Hartford.

If this sounds like an opportunity for you, Foodshare holds a new volunteer orientation monthly at our Bloomfield Office. This one hour session will begin you on the path to being a Foodshare Ambassador.
