Volunteer Opportunity Details:

If so, consider investigating the possibility of mentoring with Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters. You don't need any special qualifications. You must be 18-years old and be willing to commit 6-10 hours per month to a child for at least one year. Mentoring isn't expensive. It isn't overly time-consuming. And you can do it very close to where you live. If you've ever toyed with the possibility of being a mentor, now is the time to act. Not only will you make it possible for a child to fulfill his or her great potential, you'll also embark on what might be the most rewarding experience of your life.
