Button Up Connecticut Coat Drive

Thanksgiving, Hanukah, Kwanza, Three Kings Day, Christmas . . . 'tis the season for celebration. But for too many children and adults, the fall and winter season means braving cold, inclement weather without something many of us take for granted: a warm winter coat.

You can help people in need this year by contributing a clean, gently used coat to the Button Up Connecticut coat drive, a partnership of Siracusa Moving & Storage, Inc. and United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. Individuals and groups are welcome to participate in the Button Up Connecticut coat drive by collecting clean, gently worn coats for men, women and children. Coats are being collected at locations throughout Connecticut through November 13, 2009. For a list of collection locations, visit www.buttonupconnecticut.com.
