I had a great time volunteering with my co-workers at Marshall House. Painting rooms, cleaning out a garden for planting, and making the place look great for the residents was just what I needed. I hope the residents love what we did! posted on May 21, 2008

Blessed to be called

Those we came to visit truly appreciated the hot meal and fellowship. An 87 year young man we met insisted on having us ride an electric stair chair down to his apartment while he walked down the stairs. He made us laugh and shared stories of his children with such pride. We thought we were there to give, but he gave us the true meaning of Thanksgiving that day. posted by catjoe on November 25, 2005
