Global Harmony Innstitute is producing a 15th annual Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr Birthday Commemoration.
There are several components to the day long commemoration festivities. We need volunteers
in our Farmington office to help with the paper work, and phone calls. Therefore
computer skills are important. We are currently managing the administration of all
the performer contracts, sponsorship documents and various press releases to promote
the event. In addition, we need production assistance for the Commemoration that
is taking place on Monday, January 16, 2006 in Torrington, CT. at Trinity Episcopal
Church. This is a nondenominational, non sectarian commemoration. There are several
volunteer opportunities for volunteers interested in theatrical production work.
Prior to the event we need volunteers with computer skills. For the day of the event
we need people who enjoy working with the public and who are comfortable working
with a team. People with experience in event coordination or community productions
are encouraged to apply but we are open to all who are interested.
