Medical Escort Transportation

Active Nov 23, 2004 to Dec 31, 2004

Transportation is provided to medical appointments for elderly residents unable to
use either public transportation or the Dial-A-Ride Program. Volunteers escort elderly
residents and wait for them until the conclusion of the appointment.
Volunteer training and education programs are provided to all volunteers. On-going
communication, follow-up and support are also provided by the volunteer coordinator.
