American Red Cross Disaster Services Class

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Everyday the Charter Oak Chapter of the American Red Cross responds to local disasters
in our communities. Volunteers stand ready to meet the emergency needs of victims
of disasters ranging from single family house fires to hurricanes. You are invited
to an Introduction to Disaster Services Class to learn about how you can help. The
class will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Chapter Headquarters
in Farmington CT.
This class will provide participants with the fundamentals about types of disasters,
the community response and the role of the Red Cross Disaster Services.
Registration is required - call 1-877-243-5727 (toll-free)to register and for location
details. There is no charge for this class.
