Farmington River Clean-Up October 1st

FARMINGTON RIVER WATERSHED ASSN. will hold the 18th Annual Farmington River Clean-Up Oct. 1. The Clean-up is a community event for individual volunteers and groups of all ages to clean up litter along the banks of the Farmington River and its tributaries. Sites include Avon, Barkhamsted, Bloomfield, Bristol, Burlington, Farmington, Granby, and Simsbury. Garbage bags, gloves and pizza lunch provided. Information: Aimee Petras, 860-658-4442.
