Ever thought about volunteering to help disadvantaged children? Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center is seeking fun-loving, positive people to interact with children living in a local family homeless shelter. Volunteers are needed to help with 10-25 kids ranging from 1-17 years old. Experience working with children and the ability to make a weekly commitment is a plus but not necessary. Teen volunteers are sought to help tutor children in our Homework Club.” Dates and times: Homework Club: Monday-Thursday 3 pm to 5 pm, Fun Time: Tuesday- Friday 6 pm to 8 pm
Volunteers will be required to attend a short interview (approximately 15 minutes) and be fingerprinted.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center (SAEHC)
