Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is looking for volunteers for their Mobile Food program. Volunteers over age 10 are needed to help set up a farmer's market style feeding station and then bag and distribute food to low income families in need.
Mobile food outings are held multiple times per month at various locations throughout Sacramento. Twice a month on Tuesday evenings from 4-7:30 pm and twice a month on Saturday mornings from 8-11:30am. You do not have to have special skills or need to attend a volunteer orientation to assist with this program.
