Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) has a North Sacramento branch called the Saca Community Learning Center located at 2469 Rio Linda Blvd, Sac. CA 95815. Currently, volunteers are needed to perform receptionist type duties.
Tasks include but are not limited to the following.... answer phones; meet and greet clients; perform miscellaneous computer duties such as imputing and maintaining databases, typing, writing letters, etc.; staple packets, file and sort forms, and help the program director and other staff and volunteers with other miscellaneous office based activities.

Timeframe: Receptionist volunteers are needed throughout the week Monday-Thursday at various times. Contact Volunteer Coordinator for more details.

Must have experience or knowledge of computer skills in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, good typing skills, Bilingual is a plus, but not required; ability to take direction, patient, open to differences, empathetic toward clients and their situations; good people skills.
