Heritage Place of Indianapolis, Inc. provides older adults with comprehensive and coordinated human services to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles, independence, well-being and quality of life.

Description:
Heritage Place provides a unique combination of center based activities and in-home services to help older adults live independently. Our programs are Care Management (needs assessments, service information and direct referrals), Caregiver Support Services (private consultations, service information and direct referrals), Friendly Visiting (regular visits to homebound older adults), Home & Yard Work (light housecleaning and seasonal yard work services), Senior Center (a wide assortment of educational classes, legal and financial information, health services and social events), and Transportation (referrals for non-emergency transportation).

History:
Heritage Place was founded in 1976 by a joint committee of the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association and the Meridian Kessler Neighborhood Association. Today, we serve approximately 1300 older adults with a variety of center-based activities and in-home services.
