The mission of the AHB Home is to provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified support to citizens of central Indiana who are terminally ill and without resources. With the help of many committed volunteers we offer comfort, warmth, and love at the end of life's journey for our residents. Volunteers may provide the following special services in the Home: barber & beautician visits, dental care, foot care, massage therapy, music therapy, art therapy, and animal assisted therapy. AHB Home Volunteers must attend a 4 hour agency orientation, followed by a 4 hour end of life orientation. NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, all volunteer positions are non-medical in nature. The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home can be reached from North Keystone Ave by turning east on either 46th Street or 52nd Steet. Pennwood Drive is one block east of Keystone. The Home is situated on the west side of Pennwood Drive, acroos from Willowbrook Apartments.
