Nonprofits in Central Indiana and youth are partnering to create positive community change!

 12th Youth Day of Caring

in celebration of

National Youth Service Day!

April 21st and 22nd 2006

  • Noblesville Parks seeks the assistance of older youth groups with adult supervision to clear and rough in new trails on a new park property. This may include digging up plants, spreading mulch or gravel, and picking up debris. Also needed in the same area is the removal of invasive plant species. The best method is digging and pulling. Park staff will be on site for direction and support.
  • On Youth Day of Caring the King Center welcomes volunteers for projects making Mother's Day gifts (Craft Sessions) for the Seniors and beautification of grounds (leaf removal). Martin Luther King, Jr. Multi-Service Center provides numerous forms of service and assistance to families and the community through information and referrals for emergency assistance, employment readiness and placement, GED preparation, computer training and much more.We welcome you!
  • With Noble of Indiana volunteers would have the opportunity to interact with individuals with Developmental Disabilities in all sorts of ways. They could be involved with art projects, sing-a-longs, and makeovers with the individuals we serve. The volunteers would get an overview of Noble and how to interact with individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
