Literacy Volunteers of Morris County will be offering a tutor training workshop for prospective tutors who would like to help adults improve their reading, writing or English conversation skills.  This training will be held on July 13 and 20, 2009 at the Morris County Library, 30 East Hanover Avenue, Whippany.

Training will begin at 9:30am and conclude at 3:30pm each day.  Tutoring is a fun and rewarding experience.  Volunteers can pick the time and place that is most convenient for them and agree to work with their students just one hour a week.  No teaching experience is necessary but volunteers must be high school graduates who are 18 years old.  To register, please call LVMC 973-984-1998.
