Volunteers at UMass Memorial Medical Center are dedicated individuals who share their time, talent and enthusiasm to support staff in its efforts to provide health care services to the people of Central New England.

Who Are Our Volunteers?

Teens who are at least 14 years old
Adults
Vocational education students

The Teen Volunteer Program at UMass Memorial provides high school students ages 14 to 18 with a learning experience that allows them to explore health care careers and provide a valuable service to the hospital.

Adult volunteers make a one-year commitment to volunteer one day a week for four hours in an assigned department. This experience allows adult volunteers the opportunity to work in a health care environment and provide a valuable service to the hospital.
