Pioneer Valley Habitat For Humanity
Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry dedicated to the eradication of poverty housing in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, Massachusetts.
Description:
We build houses with very low income families, making home ownership possible for those who would otherwise not be able to afford a home in this area.
History:
Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity began in 1989. We acquired an executive director, MJ Adams, in 1998 and have built homes for 18 families in the past 17 years. We have built throughout Hampshire and Franklin Counties, but most recently in Greenfield, Northampton, Florence, Amherst, and Turners Falls.
