The mission of Girls Incorporated is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
Description:
Girls Incorporated is Worcester's only community agency offering facility-based, after-school programs targeted to comprehensive youth development by providing youth with constructive skill building alternatives to prevent destructive behaviors. These programs are offered Monday-Friday after school and on Saturdays, when girls are most at risk - during unsupervised, idle time.
History:
Girls Incorporated of Worcester is a non-profit organization that was founded as the Worcester Girls Club in 1916. Girls Incorporated of Worcester has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of girls in our community. Girls Inc. serves a diverse group of young people, aged 5-18.
